Recovery Associates offers effective, affordable drug and alcohol intensive outpatient treatment for anyone struggling with substance abuse. Our intensive outpatient program also provides sober housing at local sober living residences.
We’ve created three individual tracks that all include more than 90 hours of weekly clinical therapy groups:
Patients are required to attend group sessions at the facility at least three days a week and complete at least nine hours of group therapy. Clients are also required to attend an individual session with a licensed therapist, and are able to meet with a board-certified psychiatrist if they choose. Although our intensive outpatient program only requires patients to attend nine hours of group therapy, we strongly recommend that patients attend as many groups as possible. Our intensive outpatient program typically lasts anywhere from 3-6 months depending on the patient. In our intensive outpatient program, patients are given the option to live at a nearby sober living home or in their own homes.
When first entering treatment, patients meet with one of our licensed therapists to receive a psychological assessment, a drug and alcohol evaluation, and an individualized treatment plan. We encourage patients to revisit their treatment plan throughout their recovery process to make any necessary changes. Weekly and sometimes bi-weekly meetings with an assigned therapist for private counseling will be provided for all patients. Our therapists use the latest therapeutic methods along with traditional methods to treat the underlying issues and behaviors of addiction. Some of the methods and therapies we use are:

We have created multiple specialty group rooms to create the most comfortable and productive treatment experience possible. Some of our group rooms include: “The Toro Room,” “The Map Room,” “The Nautical Room,” “The Adolescent Room,” and “The Living Room.”
Why Should I Attend a Drug & Alcohol Intensive Outpatient Program?
Intensive outpatient programs are ideal for anyone who needs a more hands-on and long-term approach to treatment. Often, 30-day treatment programs simply do not provide patients with enough time to fully address all of the underlying issues of addiction and withdraw completely from their drug of choice. Studies show that long-term treatment increases the chance of success for individuals working toward sobriety. The initial recovery period is the most difficult part of the process, and having a committed support group and medical supervision can help individuals stay sober. Intensive outpatient treatment provides structure and support while the individual slowly adjusts to daily life without the use of alcohol and drugs. Intensive outpatient treatment is also the best option for patients to learn new coping tactics before returning to the “real world.”
Intensive outpatient treatment is a cost-effective way for individuals to receive excellent drug and alcohol addiction therapy. This type of treatment is ideal for working individuals or those who are otherwise unable to attend inpatient drug treatment.
