Recovery Associates always provides effective, affordable drug and alcohol intensive outpatient treatment for anyone struggling with substance abuse. Our intensive outpatient program also provides sober housing at local sober living residences.
We’ve created three individual tracks that all include more than 90 hours of clinical groups:
Patients are required to attend groups at the facility at least three days a week and complete at least nine hours of group therapy. Clients are to attend an individual session with a licensed therapist, and are able to meet with a board certified psychiatrist if they choose. Although our intensive outpatient program only requires patients to attend nine hours of group therapy, we strongly recommend you attend as many groups as possible. Our intensive outpatient program typically lasts anywhere from 3-6 months depending on the patient. In our intensive outpatient program, patients are given the option to live at a nearby sober living home or live at home.
When first entering treatment, you will meet with one of our licensed therapists who will give you a psychological assessment, drug and alcohol evaluation and an individualized treatment plan. We encourage patients to revisit their treatment plan throughout their recovery process to make any necessary changes. Weekly and sometimes bi-weekly meetings with your assigned therapist for private counseling will be provided for all patients. Our therapists use the latest therapeutic methods along with traditional methods to treat the underlying issues and behaviors of addiction. Some of the methods and therapies we use are:
Recovery Associates has created a well-rounded intensive outpatient treatment for drug and alcohol addiction. Along with individual counseling, we also offer a multitude of therapeutic groups and classes. We have a holistic approach represented in our numerous classes. We provide holistic therapies because we believe that when treating addiction, it is also necessary to treat the mind, body, and soul. Our groups are designed to target all areas of life so that true healing can begin to take place. Clients are able to decide which groups they would like to attend on their own recovery journey.
Some of our groups include:
We have created multiple specialty group rooms for the most relaxed and productive experience possible. Some of our group rooms are “The Toro Room,” “The Map Room,” “The Nautical Room,” “The Adolescent Room” and “The Living Room.”
Why Should I Attend a Drug & Alcohol Intensive Outpatient Program?
Intensive outpatient programs are ideal for anyone who needs a more hands-on and long-term approach to treatment. Many times, 30-day programs are not enough time to fully reach all underlying issues of addiction, let alone completely withdraw off every drug. Studies show that long-term treatment increases the chances of success for individuals working toward sobriety. Early recovery is the hardest time, and having a support group and commitments can help individuals stay sober. Intensive outpatient treatment can provide structure and support while the individual slowly adjusts to daily life without the use of alcohol and drugs. Intensive outpatient treatment is the best option to learn new tactics before you become overwhelmed in the “real world.”
Intensive outpatient treatment is a cost-effective way of receiving the same, if not better, treatment than an inpatient program. This type of treatment is ideal for working individuals or those who are unable to attend inpatient drug treatment.
